You couldn't make it up
We play a game called MacGuyver in which we improvise bizarre ways to solve a world crisis using equally bizarre objects. This is, of course, a parody of the real MacGuyver TV show. Wikipedia, bless its little cotton socks, has shown us that any parody is unlikely to be as incredible as the 'reality':

There's a superb quote in one of the first episodes of Stargate SG-1, which Richard Dean Anderson went on to after McGyver: it goes something like "They did what? It took us three months and two supercomputers to McGyver up a dialing system for this thing!"

Guyver is some kind of manga/anime thingy. The crossover potential is endless.
