Had a very pleasant day. Got up around 8am and had a lovely slow-roasted bacon and sossie breakfast. Then there was a little fun as we spent ages getting lost trying to get to Muncaster Castle. Lovely time there wandering around the huge grounds then the castle and associated activities. Also had fun watching the birds of prey being fed. Slightly shorter journey back via Ravenglass where we wandered around the coast failing to find a Roman bath-house. Jennie is just having a soapy bath and we're preparing to go out for dinner. |
