Just had a lovely jacuzzi bath in a lovely hotel room. We left Cambridge for the Lake District at around 10am and finally got into the hotel around 4pm (after about 2 hours of delays on the motorways). Luckily it is nice and restful here. Had a lovely meal and wandered around the village. I am so relaxed sitting here in the 4-poster bed with running water outside, soft sheets, WiFi and the promise of a cooked breakfast tomorrow. Just like a post I made here a month or so ago :). |
